SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 17XX LILAC LN 11/06/20, 0115 HOURS
Officer stopped out with a vehicle parked in a park after hours. Vehicle came back as stolen and the driver
had a warrant out of Ramsey County. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Receiving
Stolen Property.
TAMPERING WITH MOTOR VEHICLE — 17XX JAMES RD 11/06/20, 0253 HOURS
Officer responded to the 1700 block of James Road for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. An item
from inside the vehicle was found in possession of an individual who was arrested nearby. A citation was
issued for the theft and tampering with a motor vehicle.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX 2ND ST 11/06/20, 0926 HOURS
Officer took a report of a theft from motor vehicle on the 1300 block of 2nd Street in Mendota. There are
no suspects at this time.
TRAFFIC STOP/DRIVER EVALS — 35E/HWY 13 11/06/20, 1327 HOURS
Officer observed two vehicles speeding northbound 35E at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles were
stopped and were driving outside of their limitations. A driver evaluation was submitted for both drivers.
ASSIST OTHER AGENCY — 5XX ABBEY WAY 11/06/20, 1804 HOURS
Officers assisted Saint Paul Police with a threat that was received at the Ramsey County Communications
Center. Around the same time, officers heard what sounded like an explosion coming from the area of
Hunter Ln and Orchard Pl. The registered owner of the phone showed as residing in Mendota Heights but
upon contact, it was believed that his number was spoofed. It is unknown if the call and explosion were
related.
SUSPICION/VEHICLE TAMPERING — 1X DORSET RD 11/07/20, 0118 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to location for a theft from vehicle in progress. Officers arrived on scene and
checked the area for suspects. Officers made contact with an adult male on foot but it was deemed to be
unrelated and not a suspect. Adult male reporting party stated that nothing was taken, but vehicle had
been left unlocked and gone through.
DWI — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 11/07/20, 0127 HOURS
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance on the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. Reports stated
people dragging another person out of a vehicle. Upon arrival it was determined that one of the males was
impaired and had driven to the area. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver showed signs of
impairment. He was arrested and booked for DWI.
COUNTERFEIT — 10XX HWY 62 11/07/20, 0826 HOURS
Officer responded to location on counterfeit currency being uttered. Case under investigation.

THEFT — 21XX FOX PLACE 11/08/20, 1511 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a report of theft at the 2100 block of Fox Place. RP stated that his catalytic
converter was stolen from his vehicle sometime last night. No suspect information, no cameras in the area.
ASSAULT — 14XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 11/09/20, 0602 HOURS
Officers received a report of an assault with a firearm on the 1400 block of Mendota Heights Road and the
suspects left the area. Officer spoke with the victims as other officers searched the area for the suspects.
Officer learned from both the adult male and female victim they knew the adult male suspects. The adult
male victim was hit with a firearm and the adult female victim had the firearm pointed at her. Afterward,
the suspects left the area. Officers were unable to locate the suspects. This incident is under investigation.
BURGLARY — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 11/09/20, 1245 HOURS
Caller from the 2300 block of Lexington Ave reported an attempted burglary in the early morning hours of
11/7/20. Nothing was stolen but property was damaged in an attempt. Crime Alert sent to identify
suspects. Under investigation.
FRAUD — 18XX EAGLE RIDGE DR 11/09/20, 1323 HOURS
Resident reported finding a fraudulent check written on a business account. The check was cashed for $438
on 10/9/20. Investigation ongoing with assistance from the bank.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 11/10/20, 1520 HOURS
Reporting party called to report a domestic assault that had occurred earlier in the day between her
boyfriend and herself. Pending further investigation.
MOTOR VEHICLE TAX EVASION — HWY 62/DELAWARE AVE 11/11/20, 2043 HOURS
Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and no license plate at Delaware and Hwy 62. Through the course of
the stop, the officer learned the vehicle was issued plates which expired in 4/2019. The vehicle was towed
and the registered owner will be charged with motor vehicle tax evasion.
