10 23 20 JTF 1 IDENTITY THEFT — 2XXX Acacia Dr 10/16/20, 1306 HOURS Officer received a report of a theft on the 2000 block of Acacia Drive. Officer spoke with an adult female who stated she had a package taken from her front porch. There are no suspects at this time. BURGLARY — 7XX EVERGREEN KNOLLS 10/17/20, 0931 HOURS Officer received a report of a burglary on the 700 block of Evergreen Knolls. Officer spoke with the victim and gathered DNA evidence from the scene. This incident is currently under investigation. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 24XX VISITATION DR 10/17/20, 1045 HOURS An officer took the report of a past action damage to property that occurred on the 2400 block of Visitation Drive. Several pieces of property were spray painted. The incident is under investigation. BURGLARY — 7XX WOODRIDGE DR 10/17/20, 1858 HOURS Officer responded to a burglary report on the 700 block of Woodridge Drive. Resident realized his bike had been stolen from his open garage when he was unable to shut his garage door. Resident had surveillance footage of a suspect pedaling up his driveway on a bike, getting off, and taking the resident ’s bike from his attached garage. There are no suspects at this time. ASSAULT — 21XX PILOT KNOB RD 10/17/20, 1946 HOURS Officer was dispatched to take an assault report. The victim was assaulted near the corner of Acacia and Pilot Knob with a wine glass, resulting in a large laceration to the face. Victim self transported to the hospital and called to report the assault. Officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody for 1st degree assault. He was transported the Dakota County Jail. DWI — MARIE AVE/WALSH LN 10/18/20, 0123 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a suspicious behavior in the area of Marie Ave and Walsh Ln. Officers located an intoxicated driver looking for his girlfriend. Officers arrested the driver for DWI and Obstruct Legal Process. THEFT — 7XX HWY 62 10/18/20, 1819 HOURS Officers responded to a theft in progress where three suspects loaded a cart full of merchandise, pushed it out and fled in a vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Pending review of video surveillance. THEFT — 7XX EVERGREEN KNOLLS 10/19/20, 1627 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft of package at the 700 block of Evergreen Knolls. The reporting party advised that a package was stolen from his residence a month prior. THEFT — 14XX CHERRY HILL RD 10/20/20, 1351 HOURS Officer received a report of a theft of a motor vehicle part on the 1400 block of Cherry Hill Road. There is no surveillance footage of the incident. There are no suspects at this time. THEFT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/20/20, 2113 HOURS Officers responded to location on a report of a theft. Victim stated they knew a potential suspect but after speaking with both parties, officer was unable to prove the suspect committed the theft. 10.16.20—10.22.20 2 THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE — 17XX Lexington Ave 10/21/20, 1005 HOURS Officer was contacted by a woman living near the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue. She had found that one of her vehicles had been stolen. A short time later at 1022 hours, Officer was advised by dispatch to confirm a stolen vehicle that Burnsville Police was out with, that was stolen out of Mendota Heights on the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue. Officer confirmed the vehicle was an active stolen and Burnsville took multiple suspects into custody. Owner of the vehicle was advised that their vehicle was recovered. THEFT — 2XXX CENTRE POINTE BLVD 10/22/20, 1058 HOURS Officer was dispatched in reference to a theft that had taken place. Two storage trailers had been broken into and items were taken. Surveillance was gathered and case is under investigation. THEFT — 14XX FARMDALE RD 10/22/20, 1120 HOURS Officer took a report of a past action trailer theft. The trailer was entered into NCIC. There are no suspects. THEFT — 14XX KNOLLWOOD LN 10/22/20, 1637 HOURS Resident reported a package theft. There is no evidence and no suspects at this time. 10.16.20—10.22.20
