TAMPERING/BURGLARY – AVANTI/OVERLOOK/DOUGLAS 08/28/20, 1521 HOURS
Officers were called to respond to a report of a suspect running from an alarm‐acƟvated vehicle. The
suspect had an armful of items; however, upon arrival, no items were found. The area was canvassed and
business cards were leŌ, but nothing was found. VicƟms later came forward and further evidence was
found of theŌ from motor vehicle in a garage/burglary. Case pending invesƟgaƟon.
DOB BITE—1300 ACACIA BLVD 09/03/20, 1500 HOURS
Officers responded to a phone call report of a dog bite. While at a park in the area another dog bit the
caller’s dog and leŌ several scratches. Report was completed and invesƟgaƟon is ongoing.
UNLOCKED MV TAMPERING—6XX BROOKSIDE LN 09/04/20, 0811 HOURS
An officer took a report of an unlocked vehicle that had been gone through; it is unknown if anything was
stolen. Case inacƟve pending further info or evidence.
TS/DAC‐IPS—HWY 62/I‐35E 09/04/20, 1632 HOURS
Officers conducted a random license plate check on a vehicle and it returned with a registered owner who
is Canceled IPS. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for driving on a canceled IPS license.
DWI REFUSAL—2XXX DODD RD 09/05/20, 0154 HOURS
Officer observed a vehicle parked in a park aŌer hours. Officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle
and observed an open can of beer in the center console and the odor of alcohol emiƫng from the vehicle.
Officer administered SFST's and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI. Driver was booked and
released from Dakota County Jail.
CIVIL PAPER SERVICE—HWY 55/MENDOTA HEIGHT RD 09/05/20, 1609 HOURS
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area and found a unserved order for protecƟon in which the driver
was the respondent. The driver was served the order and released with a warning for the traffic violaƟon.
DWI—Hwy 62/I‐35E 09/05/20, 2302 hours
Officers were on patrol when they noƟced a vehicle heading South on 35E at a high rate of speed. Officers
acƟvated their radar and clocked the vehicle traveling at 100 MPH in a 55MPH zone. Officers caught up to
and stopped the vehicle. During an invesƟgaƟon the officers found signs of impairment and arrested the
driver for DWI.
TS—WARRANT ARREST—I‐494 & PILOT KNOB RD 09/05/20, 2342 HOURS
Officer was on rouƟne patrol and observed a vehicle to have an equipment violaƟon. Officer performed a
license plate check, which came back with the owner having a felony warrant. Officer stopped the vehicle
and arrested and jailed the driver on the warrant.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ‐ 900 WAGON WHEEL TRAIL 09/06/20, 0826 HOURS
Officers took a report of property damage to a fence belonging to the city, damaged by an unknown per‐
son. Case inacƟve pending further leads.
HARASSMENT—700 MOHICAN LN 09/06/20, 0905 HOURS
Responded to invesƟgate a violaƟon of a Harassment Order. InformaƟon gathered, invesƟgaƟon is acƟve.
HIT & RUN PROPERTY DAMAGE—2XXX STOCKBRIDGE RD 9/6/20, 1136 HOURS
Officers responded to the report of a vehicle that had leŌ a crash involving a cable box where the suspect/
driver was believed to be intoxicated. A KOPS alert was issued for the vehicle.
DWI/AOA—HWY 13 & WACHTLER AVE 9/7/20, 0818 HOURS
Responded to a report of a driver passed out in their vehicle in a lane of traffic. State Patrol invesƟgated
and arrested the driver on suspicion of DWI.
THEFT FROM AUTO—6XX 2ND AVE 09/06/20, 1900 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a report of a theŌ from motor vehicle. No suspects at this Ɵme.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD—1XXX MAYFIELD HEIGHTS LN 09/08/20, 1524 HOURS
Officer dispatched to take a report of financial card transacƟon fraud. InvesƟgaƟon acƟve.
ATTEMPTED FORGERY—7XX MARKET ST 09/08/20, 1640 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a report of an adult male aƩempƟng to pass a forged check. InvesƟgaƟon ongoing.
TOWED VEHICLE—9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 09/09/20, 0711 HOURS
Officer checked on an individual whose car had been broken down on the highway. He had told several
officers that he had a plan to get his vehicle moved but proved that was not the case. Male agreed to have
his vehicle towed and accepted a ride to a bus staƟon in St Paul. InformaƟon only.
TS/DAC—IPS, 1XXX MARIE AVE 09/09/20, 1111HOURS
Officer stopped a canceled IPS driver. Driver was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail, where he
was booked and released. Case status cleared with adult arrest.
THEFT FROM AUTOS—1XXX NORTHLAND DR 09/09/20, 1246 HOURS
Officer was called to take a report of theŌ of four catalyƟc converters from a business parking lot. The
reporƟng party believed the theŌs had taken place someƟme over the last three weeks. Case inacƟve
pending further leads.

HRO VIOLATION—7XX MOHICAN LN 09/09/20, 1655 HOURS
Officer dispatched to an HRO violaƟon complaint. Officer gathered informaƟon from the complainant and a
witness. Officer then contacted the ex‐girlfriend and gathered informaƟon. Officer reviewed documents
that both parƟes had provided. AŌer reviewing all the informaƟon, the officer concluded that no violaƟon
had been commiƩed. Report wriƩen.
THEFTS FROM AUTO—13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 09/09/20, 1728 HOURS
Officers responded to several reports of theŌs where vehicles were windows were damaged and property
was stolen, including three computers and backpacks and other personal items. Reports were wriƩen;
invesƟgaƟon ongoing.
THEFT FROM AUTO—11XX DELAWARE AVE 09/10/20, 0643 HOURS
A woman found that her vehicle had been gone through overnight and her wallet was taken. The stolen
cards inside were not used and the cards have since been canceled. There is no suspect informaƟon. The
case is inacƟve.
DAMAGE TO AUTO—9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 09/10/20, 2146 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to take a report of a window broken out of a vehicle. InformaƟon gathered and
report wriƩen. Case inacƟve.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT—HWY 13 & MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 09/10/20, 2230 HOURS
Officers responded to assist State Patrol with a DomesƟc Assault in a motor vehicle. Troopers and Mendota
Heights officers located the vehicle and stopped the car on Highway 13 at Mendota Heights Road. The
vicƟm got out of the car, but the suspect fled into Eagan. State Patrol pursued the vehicle, but terminated
the pursuit. The suspect was ulƟmately taken into custody by Eagan Police. The suspect was booked into
Dakota County on mulƟple charges. Case status cleared with adult arrest.
