TRAFFIC STOP/OFP – HWY 13/HWY 55 08/07/20, 0506 HOURS
Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Driver has an Order For Protection
against them that had not been served. Officer issued a short form notification for the OFP.
DISTURBING THE PEACE – 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/07/20, 1617 HOURS
Officers responded to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy on reports of a disturbance. Two customers
entered a business and one of them was not wearing a mask. A manager asked them to wear a mask and
the males threatened to kill the manager. The males left before officers arrived.
BURGLARY – 7XX SOUTH PLAZA WAY 08/08/20, 0915 HOURS
An officer took a report of a burglary on the 700 block of South Plaza Way. The reporting party indicated
that sometime overnight tools were stolen from a vehicle parked in an underground garage. The incident is
under investigation.
TRAFFIC STOP – HWY 62/HWY 35 08/08/20, 1805 HOURS
While patrolling the area of Main St and Market St, officers observed a parked vehicle with current
registration but it displayed expired in DVS. Officers waited for a driver to come back to the vehicle and
stopped the vehicle. Driver wasn't the registered owner and had recently purchased the vehicle. Tabs listed
to a different vehicle. Tabs were removed from the vehicle and driver was released.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT – 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/08/20, 1918 HOURS
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Hwy 13 on reports of a motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival, officer
confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from the lot. No suspects at this time.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT – 14XX WACHTLER AVE 08/09/20, 1025 HOURS
An officer took a report of a vehicle that had been stolen on the 1400 block of Wachtler Ave. The vehicle
had multiple items of value in it when it was taken. The vehicle was entered as stolen and is currently
under investigation.
AOA/RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE – 13XX RIVERSIDE LN 08/09/20, 1056 HOURS
Officer located a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Riverside Lane. It was unoccupied. Originating agency
and owner advised where it was being towed.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – 7XX LOWER COLONIAL DR 08/09/20, 1250 HOURS
Officer responded to the 700 block of Lower Colonial Dr on a report of a theft from vehicle that happened
overnight. The vehicle was unlocked. No suspects at this time.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 08/09/20, 1515 HOURS
Officers responded to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy on reports of a male trying to break into
vehicles. Upon arrival into the area, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect
vehicle. The suspect was located and arrested. During the investigation the suspect stated that he
swallowed meth and was transported to the hospital.

OVERDOSE – 9XX HWY 13 08/09/20, 2009 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Highway 13 for an unconscious patient not breathing due to a
suspected overdose. Officers provided medical aid and the patient was transported to the hospital.
HARASSING COMMUNICATION – 17XX VICTORIA RD S 08/09/20, 2025 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Victoria Road S to speak to an adult female party who was
having some issues with her adult male son who was having a mental health crisis and was making threats.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – MARIE AVE/SUTTON LN 08/10/20, 0745 HOURS
Responded to the intersection of Marie Avenue and Sutton Lane on a report of a theft from vehicle at a
road construction site. No suspects or evidence.
BICYCLE CRASH – SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY/35E 08/10/20, 1149 HOURS
Responded to the intersection of Sibley Memorial Highway over 35E on a single bicycle crash. The bicyclist
was transported to the hospital and officer secured the bike to be picked up at a later time.
THEFT/FRAUD – 9XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 08/10/20, 1826 HOURS
Officer received a report of a theft from vehicle on the 900 block of Mendota Heights Road. There are no
suspects at this time. Case under investigation.
THEFT – 7XX DECORAH LN 08/11/20, 1308 HOURS
Officer responded to the 700 block of Decorah Ln on a report of a theft of a laptop computer. The
computer was supposed to have been shipped overnight. When she discovered the package on her
doorstep, it was empty even though it was sealed with tape. No suspects.
FRAUD – 21XX THERESA ST 08/12/20, 0952 HOURS
Officer took a report of a check fraud where the victim believes that the check was stolen from their
outgoing mailbox and fraudulently used. Case under investigation.
