DWI – HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE 07/10/20, 0225 HOURS
Officers were dispatched to the intersecƟon of Highway 62 at Lexington Avenue on a report of a slumper.
Officers arrived and observed the driver passed out in two lanes of traffic. Driver was treated and released
from the hospital. Driver was then transported and booked into the Dakota County Jail for DWI Test
Refusal, Driving AŌer CancellaƟon, and ObstrucƟng the Legal Process.
DWI – WACHTLER AVE/EMERSON AVE 07/11/20, 0121 HOURS
Officer iniƟated a vehicle stop for a speed violaƟon near Wachtler Ave and Emerson Ave. Driver admiƩed to
consuming alcohol prior to driving. SFST's were conducted and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI.
Driver was booked into the Dakota County Jail.
ASSIST OTHER AGENCY – 35E/HWY 62 07/11/20, 1833 HOURS
Officers responded to a single vehicle crash northbound Interstate 35E at Highway 62. Officers arrived with
State Troopers and found the adult driver in the passenger seat appearing to have an overdose. A juvenile
female was in the vehicle. Mendota Heights officers were able to get ahold of the juvenile female's father.
Illegal drugs were recovered in the vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment and a
blood draw. Troopers transported the juvenile female to her father.
THEFT – 2XXX MENDAKOTA DR 07/11/20, 2055 HOURS
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Mendakota Dr on reports of a past acƟon theŌ from vehicle. A
vehicle was leŌ unlocked and change from the vehicle was stolen. Report was wriƩen and a suspect vehicle
has been idenƟfied.
DWI – 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/12/20, 0454 HOURS
Officer stopped out with a vehicle that was stopped at a closed business on the 800 block of Sibley
Memorial Highway. SFST's were administered and the driver was arrested for DWI. Driver was cited for
DWI and was booked and released into the Dakota County Jail.
ROBBERY – 16XX LILYDALE RD 07/12/20, 0735 HOURS
Officer responded to the 1600 block of Lilydale Road to take a report of an aŌer the fact aggravated
robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. InvesƟgaƟon ongoing.
BURGLARY – 16XX JAMES RD 07/12/20, 0933 HOURS
Officers took a burglary report on the 1600 block of James Road. SomeƟme overnight, an unknown suspect
entered an unlocked vehicle, stole items, and used the garage door opener to gain access to the home. No
known items are missing from the residence. The case is under invesƟgaƟon.
TAMPERING WITH MOTOR VEHICLE – 16XX JAMES RD 07/12/20, 1013 HOURS
While patrolling the 1600 block of James Road, it was reported to an officer that a resident vehicle that had
been gone through overnight. No items were missing but it is believed to be related to other incidents in
the neighborhood.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – 13XX NORTHLAND DR 07/12/20, 1451 HOURS
Officer responded to a harassment call on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. A staff member reported to
officers that an angry guest had called him a racial slur over the hotel phone line. AŌer the guest leŌ, the
staff member observed his car Ɵre had been punctured. The staff member did not see who punctured the
Ɵres and the incident was not recorded. This is currently an open invesƟgaƟon.
ASSIST OTHER AGENCY – HWY 55 07/13/20, 0254 HOURS
Officers assisted Edina PD and Chaska County depuƟes who were in a pursuit Eastbound 55 over the
Mendota Bridge. Prior to entering the bridge deck, the suspect vehicle Ɵres were deflated and ulƟmately
stopped in the middle of the bridge. A hostage negoƟaƟon ensued. Officers assisted with closing the bridge
and stopping traffic. No other involvement.
THEFT – 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/13/20, 1142 HOURS
Dispatched to the 2300 block of Lexington Ave on report of a stolen motorcycle. Vehicle entered as stolen.
Video requested from property management. The next day, officers were dispatched to confirm the
recovery of the motorcycle out of Roseville.
THEFT – 25XX CONCORD WAY 07/13/20, 1514 HOURS
Officer dispatched to contact an adult female in the 2500 block of Concord Way on a report of a package
being stolen. No suspects at this Ɵme.
THEFT – 5XX EMERSON AVE 07/13/20, 2041 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a theŌ at the 500 block of Emerson Ave. The reporƟng party advised that a golf cart
had been stolen from the property. While officer was gathering informaƟon, a WSPPD officer advised he
had located the golf cart and had two juveniles with him. Officers gathered informaƟon from the
juveniles and found that they had taken the golf cart. The juveniles' parents were noƟfied and took custody
of them.
IDENTITY THEFT – 7XX MAIN ST 07/14/20, 1334 HOUR
Officer responded to the 700 block of Main Street on a report of IdenƟty TheŌ. The case is under invesƟga-
Ɵon.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE – 23XX KRESSIN AVE 07/14/20, 2311 HOUR
Officers dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the 2300 block of Kressin Avenue. Officers arrived
on scene and vehicle came back as stolen. Adult female occupant arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – 2XXX DODD RD 07/15/20, 0448 HOUR
Officers responded to 2000 block of Dodd Road on a report of damage to property. A passerby saw the
glass on the front door smashed and another window on the north side of the building also smashed. No
entry made. No other damage done.

IDENTITY THEFT – 7XX EVERGREEN KNOLL 07/12/20, 1451 HOURS
Officer responded to the 700 block of Evergreen Knoll on a report of idenƟty theŌ. InvesƟgaƟon ongoing.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/15/20, 1351 HOURS
Officer took a report of damage to a motor vehicle on the 2300 block of Lexington Ave. SomeƟme in the
previous days, someone tried to break the igniƟon to the vehicle. Under invesƟgaƟon.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – 14XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/15/20, 1407 HOURS
Officers were called to the 1400 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy for a religious arƟcle that had been broken.
Photographs were taken of the scene and an increased patrol in the area was requested.
THEFT – 18XX DELAWARE AVE 07/16/20, 0942 HOURS
Officer took a report of a theŌ where the vicƟm was exercising with others and had their belongings laying
on the ground. When vicƟm finished exercising, they noƟced their items were missing out of the case.
Unknown suspects.
THEFT – 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/16/20, 1714 HOURS
Resident reported a catalyƟc converter was stolen from her vehicle on the night of 7/12/20. No suspects at
this Ɵme.
TRAFFIC STOP – 12XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 07/16/20, 1839 HOURS
While patrolling the area, officer conducted a random license plate check on a vehicle that was seen driving
on the road. The vehicle returned with expired registraƟon but was displaying current registraƟon. Officer
stopped the vehicle and the registraƟon was not for this vehicle. Driver was cited and released.
