STOLEN VEHICLE – I-35E/HWY 62 07/04/20, 0210 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol northbound I-35E at Highway 62 when he observed a dark colored Toyota
Camry travelling in front of him. Officer ran the plate and the vehicle came back stolen. Officers conducted
a high risk stop of the vehicle at I-35E and Grand Ave. Adult male driver was taken into custody and later
released to medics and transported to the hospital for swallowing methamphetamine. Vehicle was
confirmed stolen and impounded. Adult male suspect was formally charged.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – WAGON WHEEL TRAIL 07/04/20, 0821 HOURS
Resident living near Rogers Lake called to report that damage had been done to a community purchased
fence. Officers arrived and saw that a section of the fence had been cut and folded back. There is no
suspect information available. The case is inactive.
VEHICLE THEFT – 17XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/05/20, 1412 HOURS
Resident parked their vehicle in the underground garage. They returned the next afternoon and the vehicle
was gone. Under investigation.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE – 9XX HWY 13 07/06/20, 1106 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Hwy 13 on a recovered stolen vehicle out of Minneapolis.
Vehicle status was confirmed by dispatch. Vehicle impounded.
FLEEING – SOUTH LN/DODD RD 07/07/20, 0848 HOURS
An officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for an equipment violation and the motorcycle fled from the
officer. The officer chose not to pursue the motorcycle. No registration obtained from the motorcycle so no
suspect could be developed. Case is inactive.
THEFT – 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/07/20, 1155 HOURS
Officer responded to location on a report of a catalytic converter being stolen from a car that was parked in
the parking lot. No suspects or evidence.
DISTURBING THE PEACE – 13XX NORTHLAND DR 07/07/20, 1542 HOURS
Officers responded to a local hotel for a disturbance. Involved parties went their separate ways.
PI ACCIDENT – WACHTLER AVE/EMERSON AVE 07/07/20, 1714 HOURS
Officers dispatched to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Wachtler Ave and Emerson Ave. The
reporting party advised that one driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and was having a seizure. The
reporting party said that the other driver was walking around but appeared to have cuts to the face.
Officers arrived on scene and evaluated both drivers. HealthEast arrived on scene and officers assisted
medics with getting the driver into the ambulance. The driver was transported to the hospital. The other
driver refused to be transported.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/07/20, 1915 HOURS
Officer dispatched to a theft from motor vehicle at the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. The reporting
party stated that his vehicle and had been broken into the previous night and his backpack with contents
had been stolen. Officer took photos of the damage to his vehicle. No suspects.
VEHICLE FIRE – 15XX HWY 13 07/07/20, 2112 HOURS
Officers assisted the Fire Dept. with a vehicle fire at the Scenic Overlook Park. Officers arrived, vehicle was
fully engulfed and unoccupied. Fire Dept. put the fire out and the car was towed away.
DWI – HWY 62/I-35E 07/09/20, 0020 HOURS
Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for moving violations on Hwy 62 and I-35E. While speaking with
the driver, officer observed signs of impairment. Driver submitted to a field sobriety test and was
determined to be over the legal limit and was placed under arrest. During the field sobriety test, driver
complained of an asthma and anxiety attack. An ambulance was requested and transported the driver to
the hospital. Officer obtained a search warrant for a blood draw and awaiting blood test results. Vehicle
was impounded.
THEFT – 15XX VANDALL ST 07/09/20, 1046 HOURS
A resident living near the location called to report that someone had gone through her cars and her garage
sometime over the last couple of days. She was missing some small items and wanted the situation
reported.
TRESPASSING – 18XX DELAWARE AVE 07/09/20, 1315 HOURS
Officer responded to location on a report of a burglary that happened within the past month. Water
damage occurred as a result of the incident due to heavy rains but no items appear to have been stolen.
TRESPASSING – 14XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/09/20, 1610 HOURS
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy on reports of a trespassing complaint.
Reporting party stated that there is a person staying on the property who they originally were allowing to
stay until Friday, but with consultation of elders in the community, they have changed their stance and
would like her to leave. Officers responded and female was originally defensive and refused to leave.
Officers were able to get a hold of some friends of hers who came to assist her in leaving.
TRESPASSING – 21XX DODD RD 07/09/20, 1737 HOURS
While patrolling the area of Wagon Wheel Trail and Swan, officers observed a vehicle do a U -turn in a
unusual spot. Officers caught up to the vehicle and ran the license plate. The plate returned with expired
tabs but the tabs on the vehicle were current. Officers stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver
about the tabs. The tabs were found to be from a junked vehicle the driver owned and driver was formally
