FLEEING IN A MOTOR VEHICLE — 9XX HWY 13 01/03/20, 1045 HOURS
Officer made a traffic stop on the 900 block of Hwy 13. The driver would not provide any identification and
ultimately fled in their vehicle. The officer did not pursue and a KOPS alert was issued for the vehicle.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 12XX NORTHLAND DR 01/03/20, 1344 HOURS
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Northland Drive on a report of a domestic assault. Officers located
the victim and suspect nearby. After speaking with the involved parties, and based on witness statements,
officers placed a male under arrest for domestic assault. The suspect provided a false name and date of
birth to officers, but was later identified, and had several outstanding warrants.
5TH DEGREE ASSAULT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 01/03/20, 1544 HOURS
Officers dispatched to a disturbance at the 1300 block of Northland Drive on an adult female that assaulted
an adult female employee. Officers received statement from victim, located suspect and placed her under
arrest. Additional adult female that was involved was arrested for an outstanding warrant as well.
THEFT — 9XX OXFORD CT 01/04/20, 1159 HOURS
Party called to report a package theft from the 900 block of Oxford Ct sometime between 12/24/19 and
1/4/20. The value of the package is about $1000. There are no leads for follow up.
DOG BITE — 8XX MENDAKOTA CT 01/04/20, 1629 HOURS
Officers dispatched to a dog bite on the 800 block of Mendakota Court. Officers met with an adult female
who had a serious injury from a dog bite on her arm. The patient was transported to the hospital. The dog
was impounded and will be quarantined for the next ten days. The dog was declared dangerous.
TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT ARREST — HWY 55 01/04/20, 2350 HOURS
Officer saw a vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 62 from Lexington. Officer got behind the vehicle,
ran the plate, and found that the registered owner had a warrant. Officer stopped the vehicle on the
Mendota Bridge. The adult male driver was the registered owner and was taken to Dakota County Jail.
Vehicle was impounded.
MOTOR VEHICLE TAX EVASION — HWY 13/MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 01/06/20, 0918 HOURS
Officer observed a vehicle driving on the roadway with no front or rear license plates. Officer conducted a
traffic stop and discovered the driver was revoked. The vehicle was not registered since November of 2018,
and the owner did not have motor vehicle insurance.
DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE — 7XX PONDHAVEN LN 01/06/20, 2247 HOURS
Officers dispatched to a domestic at the 700 block of Pondhaven Lane between an adult male and a
juvenile male. Officers arrived on scene and determined there was no crime committed. Juvenile male
transported to a different address for the night.

DOMESTIC/WARRANT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 01/07/20, 1704 HOURS
Dispatched to a domestic call at the 1300 block of Northland Drive. The reporting party stated that she
wanted the father of her child to leave. She stated the male pushed her. Officer arrived and spoke with
the reporting party who said that the male had left and that she did not know where he went. Officer
searched the area and located the male. The male was arrested for warrants.
THEFT — 14XX NORTHLAND DR 01/08/20, 0805 HOURS
Officers took a theft report that had occurred on the 1400 block of Northland Dr. The victim reported that
sometime in the past month, the catalytic converter was stolen off of their vehicle. No suspects or leads.
FOUND PROPERTY — 21XX LEXINGTON AVE 01/08/20, 0916 HOURS
Homeowner in the 2100 block of Lexington Ave found a handgun along side the roadway. Photos were
taken of the gun, which turned out to be a .177 caliber pellet gun. The gun had scratches on it and the
bottom portion of the grip was broke off. The serial number came back as clear. The item was placed in
property.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE — WINSTON CIR/WINSTON CT 01/08/20, 2302 HOURS
Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of Winston Ct. Officer asked the driver for their license
and the driver proceeded to be deceptive about not having their license on them and gave the officer a
false name. The driver later admitted to lying about their identity because they did not want to go to jail
and admitted to having their license in their wallet. The driver was identified by their MN license as the
registered owner of the vehicle who was also revoked. Driver was released with a citation for
Misdemeanor Give Peace Officer False Name and Misdemeanor Driving After Revocation.
VEHICLE TAX EVASION/THEFT — 11XX CENTRE POINT CURVE 01/09/20, 0338 HOURS
Officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business. The vehicle was running and
was unoccupied. Officer ran the license plate of the vehicle and was alerted the registration was expired in
May, 2019 however the vehicle was displaying current 2020 stickers. Officer inspected the stickers and
observed they had been taped on. Officer ran the sticker number of the tabs and discovered the tabs
belonged on a different vehicle. Officer made contact with the owner who stated they bought the vehicle a
week ago and have not registered the vehicle yet. The owner was unaware the stickers did not belong to
the vehicle. Officer seized the license plates and is attempting to make contact with purchaser of the tabs
along with the previous owner of the vehicle.
