Thousands of dogs die each year inside parked cars. It only takes 10
minutes for the inside temperature of your vehicle to raise almost
20 degrees. Although many people believe leaving the windows
open or parking in the shade can delay the temperature rise, it is not
enough. With the seemingly hot temperatures we have had this
summer, please do not EVER leave your animals in your car.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SEE A DOG IN A HOT CAR:
RECORD INFORMATION ABOUT THE VEHICLE (Make, Model, Color,
and License Plate Number)
