Open House—2040 Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan is a formally adopted document stating the City’s goals and
policies as they relate to land use, housing, parks & open space, transportation, utilities,
and other issues. The Comp Plan is updated every 10 years.
The City invites all residents, business owners and stakeholders to attend an Open
House - to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan, provide input and suggestions,
and participate in activities.
The last meeting will be held on: Nov 15th - 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Friendly Hills Middle School

Volunteer Police Reserve Officer Openings
The Mendota Heights Police Department is accepting applications for the
position of Police Reserve Officer. Police reserves are volunteers who assist
the department by performing and participating in critical, non-enforcement
duties including custody transports, vacation checks, security at crime scenes
and special community events.

City Seeks Seasonal Part-Time Help
The Mendota Heights Park and Recreation Department is taking ap-
plications for a skating instructor, warming house/rink attendants,
and rink flooders. Application materials are under ‘employment’ on
the Mendota Heights website. Please let your family and friends know

Pumpkin Collection Successful
The pumpkin collection held last Saturday was a
huge success! A total of 226 vehicles dropped off
pumpkins which filled the dumpster. The pump-
kins will be recycled into compost.
