HAVE A SAFE WEEK!
July is the peak month for grill
fires. Roughly half of all injuries
involving grills are thermal
burns.
Propane and charcoal grills
should only be used
outdoors.
Place grill well away from the
home, deck and overhanging
trees.
Keep children and pets at
least three feet away.
Keep your grill clean by
removing grease buildup in
the trays below.
Never leave your grill
unattended.
Always make sure the lid is
open before lighting it.
If the flame on a propane
grill goes out, turn gas off
and wait 5 min before
lighting again.
Only use charcoal starter
fluid.
Keep charcoal fluid away
from children and heat
sources.
Let the coals cool completely
before disposing.
If you smell gas, step away
and call 9-1-1.
