This is your chance to clear out your home and property! Through the clean -up,
Mendota Heights residents recycle tons of materials; nearly everything brought
to the clean-up is recycled or processed. The event is open to Mendota Heights
residents with current ID, driving personal vehicles and small trailers.

THEFT — 1XXX Mayfield Heights Lane FRIDAY, 4/14/2017, 1015 HOURS
Officers responded to the 13XX block of Mayfield Heights for a theft. It was learned that a firearm
was stolen from a safe. The suspect is known to the owner. An alert was placed for a vehicle
involved and for the suspect. The vehicle was found in a neighboring jurisdiction. The KOPS alert
for the vehicle was removed. The suspect ultimately turned themselves in.
DUI — Hwy 110 SATURDAY, 4/15/17, 0006 HOURS
A traffic stop was performed on a driver who was seen driving all over the road. The driver was
taken to the Mendota Heights Police Department to complete a series of standardized field
sobriety tests in a controlled environment. The driver was subsequently arrested for DWI.
HARASSING COMMUNICATION — 5XX Hiawatha Ave SATURDAY, 4/15/17, 0458 HOURS
A woman called reference some threatening text messages that she was receiving from her ex -
boyfriend. She had filed for an order for protection but knew that it wouldn't be served until the
following Monday. Officers made contact with the aggressive party and delivered clear instructions
to stop any and all communication with the victim.
THEFT — 6XX Sunset Lane SATURDAY, 4/15/17, 1206 HOURS
A phone in report of a stolen license plate revealed it had been stolen sometime in December of
2016. The owner obtained new license plates and now reported it. The previous license plate was
entered as stolen. Case inactive.
THEFT FROM MV — 8XX Cheri Lane SATURDAY, 4/15/17, 2000 HOURS
Theft from unlocked motor vehicle occurred in the 8** block of Cheri Lane. Thieves entered vehicle
and stole some Frisbee discs. Thieves also rifled through a second unlocked vehicle in the driveway
and took nothing. No suspects. Resident requested case number to file insurance claim.
Case Status Inactive.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — Hwy 13 SUNDAY, 4/16/17, 1629 HOURS
Dispatched to a rolling domestic near Hwy 13 and Victoria Curve. Male stated his 15 year old
daughter is out of control and destroying the car. Female screaming obscenities but calmer upon
my arrival. Healtheast called for transport hold. Father wants charges filed for damage to vehicle.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES — 1XXX Delaware Ave MONDAY, 4/17/17, 1719 HOURS
Dispatched to contact resident on the 1100 block of Delaware concerning suspicious
circumstances. Reporting party advised that two bills from different companies were never received
from his direct payment account. No other suspicious items were noted on his account.
No suspects.

THEFT — 1XXX Mayfield Heights Road TUESDAY, 4/18/2017, 0737 HOURS
Victim in the 1600 block of Mayfield Heights Rd had his rental vehicle entered overnight. The victim reports having his bag stolen from the vehicle. Inside the bag was $1,000.00, a laptop computer and other personal items. The victim thought he had locked the vehicle. The victim will forward the serial number for the computer if it is located. There are no known suspects. Case Status: Inactive
THEFT — 1XXX Dodd Road WEDNESDAY, 4/19/2017, 1422 HOURS
Officer responded to a residence in the 1700 block of Dodd Rd and spoke to the complainant who reported approximately $10.00 in change had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. He stated the theft took place sometime in the last month and only reported it so we would be aware. No evidence, suspects or leads available. Case for information only.
PD ACCIDENT — 1XXX Marie Avenue WEDNESDAY, 4/19/2017, 2152 HOURS
Report of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision. There were scratches to the vehicle's but its unknown if the scratch's occurred from the collision. There was no other damage to the vehicles.
THEFT — Hingham Circle WEDNESDAY, 4/19/2017, 2300 HOURS
Comp's wheels and tires were stolen off of his truck sometime overnight. No suspect information.
STOLEN VEHICLE — 1XXX Northland Drive WEDNESDAY, 4/19/2017, 2325 HOURS
Officer responded to the 1300 block of Northland Dr on a reported vehicle theft. no suspects or evidence. Vehicle was entered into NCIC as a stolen vehicle.
RECOVERED PROPERTY — 2XXX Hwy 13 THURSDAY, 4/20/2017, 0008 HOURS
While on routine patrol a random license plate inquire returned with a stolen hit. The unoccupied vehicle was confirmed stolen. The original agency to take the report requested the vehicle be held for processing and sent a tow truck to retrieve the vehicle. Officers investigated the incident and the information will be forwarded to the original agency.
