RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF VILLAGE
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM TO SERVE THE PROPERTY
OF SOMERSET COUNTRY CLUB
WHEREAS, the Somerset Country Club has requested the
extension of the Village Sanitary Sewer System to serve that part of
their property situated in the Village of Mendota Heights, more par-
ticularly described as :
An area bounded by the following described line:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line
of First Avenue and the East right-of-way line ,of
Dodd Road (Highway No. 49); thence Easterly at right
angles to Dodd Road, a distance of eight hundred
feet (800') thence deflecting to the right ninety
degrees (90�) for a distance of four hundred feet
(400'); thence deflecting to the right ninety degrees
((900) for a distance of approximately eight hundred
feet (8001), to the East right-of-way line of Dodd
Road; thence Northerly along the East right-of-way
line of Dodd Road for a distance of approximately
four hundred feet (4001) to the point of beginning
and there terminating. Said area consisting of
approximately 7.3 acres, more or less, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and
specifications to cover said construction, and
WHEREAS, the assessment to be levied against the property
of Somerset Country Club by reason of said sanitary sewer extension
has heretofore been agreed in writing by said Somerset Country Club,
and
WHEREAS, in order to serve said part of the property of
Somerset Country Club at this time with the Village Sanitary Sewer
System, it is necessary that the Village obtain the permission of the
City Council of the City of Saint Paul to extend the Mendota Heights
Northeast Sanitary Sewer District to include said part of the premises
of Somerset Country Club.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) That the plans and specifications for the con-
struction of an extension of the Village Sanitary Sewer
System to serve the above described property of the Somerset
Country Club be and the same are hereby approved.
2) That the Village Engineer is hereby authorized,
and directed to apply to the City Council of the City of
Saint Paul requesting that the City of Saint Paul extend
the limits of the Mendota Heights Northeast Sanitary Sewer
District previously determined under and pursuant to Saint
Paul City Council File No. 207524 - Ordinance No. 12222 to
include that part of the property of Somerset Country Club
more particularly described as the following property situated
in Dakota County, Minnesota, to -wit:
An area bounded by the following described line:

a distance of approximately eight hundred feet
(8001), to the East right-of-way line of Dodd
Road; thence Northerly along the East right-of-
way line of Dodd Road for a distance of approxi-
mately four hundred feet (400') to the point,of
beginning and there terminating. Said area
consisting of approximately 7.3 acres, more or
less.
3) That the Mayor and Clerk of the Village of Mendota
Heights are hereby authorized and directed to execute any
and all papers and documents necessary to effectuate the ex-
tension of said sanitary sewer district.
