VILLAGE OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO SERVE SOMERSET PARK AND
WILLOW SPRINGS ADDTTIONS AND ADJACENT AREAS."
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for
bids for the construction of a water distribution
system to serve Somerset Park and Willow Springs'
Additions, and adjacent areas, bids therefore were
received, opened and tabulated according to the
applicable Minnesota Statutes provided, and
WHEREAS, The Village Engineer reported
the following bids were received:

WHEREAS, the Village Engineer reported
that Orfei and Sons, Inc. of Saint Paul, Minnesota,
was the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the
Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights
as follows:
(1) That the low bid of Orfei and Sons, Inc.
in the total amount of $160,500.50 be and the same
Is -hereby accepted and the contract for said
improvement project is hereby awarded to said Orfei
and Sons, Inc.
(2) That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary
construction contracts with respect to said project
on behalf of the Village. 1
(3) That said improvement project shall
hereafter be known and designated as Improvement
No. 4, Project No. 5.
Adopted by the Village Council this 4+h day of April,1967.
