RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF PROPERTY FOR.THE OPENING AND.IMPROVE-
MENT OF CLEMENT STREET.AND SYLVANDALE ROAD
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has heretofore recom-
mended that the Village acquire an easement for road purposes
over the easterly thirty (30) feet and the northerly thirty
(30) feet of all that part of Lot 28 of Auditor's Subdivision
No. 3,Mendota, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot
28, thence Southerly along the easterly line
of said Lot 28, 211.35 feet, thence due West
208 feet, thence northwesterly and parallel to
the east line of said Lot 28, 211.35 feet to the
north line of said Lot -28, thence East on said
north line to the place of beginning, according
to the plat thereof now on file and of record in
the office of the Register of Deeds of Dakota
County, Minnesota. -
for the opening and improvement of part of Clement Street
and Sylvandale Road situated in the Village and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore de-
termined that itis necessary and desirable that the Village
acquire said easement for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY
RESOLVED, that it is feasible, necessary and de-
sirable that the Village acquire an easement for street purposes
at this time over and to the property hereinabove described,
and
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Village Attorney be
and is hereby authorized and directed to proceed with eminent
domain proceedings for the purpose of acquiring said street
easements.
