Extract of Minutes of Meeting of Village -Council; Village of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota Held December 5, 1967 A regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, was held at,the Village Hall in said Village on December 5, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Huber, Calkins, Stringer, Lockwood,, and, Mertensotto, and the following were absent: none The Mayor announced that this was the time and place for the receipt and opening of sealed bids for the purchase of $1,400,000 Temporary Trunk Sewer Improvement Bonds, Series A, of the Village. The Village Clerk furnished affi- davits of publication of the notice of sale in the West St. Paul Booster - Riverview News and in the Commercial West. Said affidavits were approved and ordered filed in the office of the Village Clerk. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 4, PROJECT NO. 7 (STAGE 2) CONSISTING OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE'S SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of Improvement No. 4, Project No. 7 (Stage•2) consisting of the second stage of construction of the Village's interceptor sanitary sewer system from Lilydale Road to the Village's lift station in Ivy Falls Addition, including the construction of all incidentals and ap- purtenances thereto, and WHEREAS, in said report, the Village Engineer reported that said proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improve- ments, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined that it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village of Mendota Heights, construct said improvements and has heretofore ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications therefore, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for said improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: . 1) That the plans and specifications for the construction of the Village's interceptor sanitary sewer system from Lilydale Road to the Village's lift station in Ivy Falls Addition, including the construction of all incidentals and appurtenances thereto are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to adver- tise 'for bids for said improvements all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 o'clock' P.M. on Wednesday, December 13, 1967, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Council Chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will then be con- sidered by the Village Council at its next regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 19, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall.
