Res 69 - 208 Accepting Engineer's Report & Calling for Hearing on Proposed Construction of Sanitary Sewer, Water, Storm Sewer & Street Construction to Serve the SW Industrial Area & the Area Adjacent TheretoVILLAGE OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 208 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATER, STORM SEWER AND STREET CONSTRUCTION TO SERVE THE SOUTHWEST INDUSTRIAL AREA AND THE AREA ADJACENT THERETO WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements: The construction of a sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the construction of a water main system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the construction of a storm.sewer.system, includ- ing appurtenances and incidentals thereto; and the construction, and reconstruction where necessary, of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: All properties abutting Mendota Heights Road from State Trunk Highway 55 to State Trunk Highway 13 located in Section Thirty- three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting Mendota Heights Road from State Trunk Highway 55 to State Trunk Highway 13 located in Section Thirty- four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting Pilot Knob Road from future State Trunk Highway 13 to Mendota Heights Road located in Section Thirty- three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23 ) West, and All properties abutting.Pilot Knob Road from future State Trunk Highway 13 to Mendota Heights Road located in Section Thirty- four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting Mendota Heights Road from State Trunk Highway 55 to Lexington Avenue located in Section Thirty-four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and r All properties abutting Mendota..Heights Road from State Trunk Highway 55 to Lexington Avenue located in Section Thirty-five (35), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting Lexington Avenue from Mendota Heights Road to the most northerly line of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting Lexington Avenue from Mendota Heights Road to the most northerly line of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Twenty-eight (28),North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting the proposed and existing Mendota Heights Road between Trunk Highway 55 and existing Trunk Highway 13 located in Section Thirty-three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, and All properties abutting the proposed and existing Mendota Heights Road between Trunk Highway 55 and existing Trunk Highway 13 located in Section. Thirty-four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three,(23) West, and All of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Southeast Quar- ter (SE 1/4) of Section Thirty-three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, lying westerly of Trunk Highway 13 and the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company right of way, including said right of way, and All of Section Thirty-three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, lying southerly and westerly of Trunk Highway 55 and future and present Trunk Highway 13, and All of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Twenty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West,.lying southerly and westerly of.Trunk Highway 55 and future and present Trunk Highway 13. WHEREAS, in said report, said Village Engineer reported that the pro- posed improvements and construction.thereof.were.feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed cost of said improvements; NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the report of said Village Engineer be and is hereby received, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that public.hearing on said improvements be held on Tuesday, February 18, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Mendota Heights Village Hall located at 2144 Dodd Road in the Village of Men- dota Heights, and 1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk, with the aid and assist- ance of the Village Attorney, be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice of said hearing and to cause said notice to be published and mailed to the owners of the property situated within said area, all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes.
