Res 69 - 213 Ordering Somerset Hills Area Water & Sanitary Sewer Improvements & Preparation of Plans & SpecificationsVILLAGE OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 213 RESOLUTION ORDERING SOMERSET HILLS AREA WATER AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND PREPARA- TION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 4th day of February, 1969, at 8:00 O'Clock PM at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota,'pursuant to resolution adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights on December 17, 1968, on the question of the proposed construction of the following described improvements: The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and.incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension'to the Village water distribu- tion system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto,_, aria the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. u The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: The Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 25, also the west 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 25, the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 26, the South 1/2 of the North- east 1/4 of Section 26, and the South 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 26, all in Township 28 North, Range 23 West. Including all that part of the following platted subdivisions situated within the above description, to -wit: Somerset Hills Jefferson Heights Summerset Place Ridgewood Park Somerset Hills No. 2 Lorretta's Addition -.Wag.enknecht' s Addition Willow Springs Addition WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing on said pro- posed construction has been attended to, and WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than ten days before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel situated within the area proposed to be assessed, all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further re- ported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction thereof, and WHEREAS, the Village Council then proceeded to hear all persons in- terested in said improvements and all persons were afforded an oppor- tunity to present their views and objections to the making of said improvements, and no objections to said improvements were presented. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village of Mendota Heights construct the following described improvements: The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area herein more particu- larly described. The construction of an extension to the Village water dis- tribution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruc- tion where necessary of streets in the area herein more particu- larly described. and it is hereby ordered that said improvements be made. 2) That the Village Engineer be and is hereby instructed to proceed with the preparation of the necessary plans and specifi- cations for said improvements. 3) That said improvements shall hereafter be designated as Improvement No. 68, Project No. 6. - Adopted by the Village Council this 4th day of February, 1969.
