Res 69 - 223 Approving Plans & Specifications & Ordering Advertisement for Bids for Construction of Sanitary & Storm Sewer Systems, Water Distribution System & Street Improvements to Serve the SW Industrial AreaVillage of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 223 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CON- STRUCTION OF SANITARY AND STORM SEWER SYSTEMS, WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, AND STREET IMPROVE- MENTS TO SERVE THE SOUTHWEST INDUSTRIAL AREA. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of sanitary and storm sewer systems, water distribution system, and street improvements to serve the Southwest Industrial Area (which improvements shall hereafter be referred to as Improvement No. 68, Project -No. 9), and WHEREAS,Ithe Village Council has heretofore determined that it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village of Mendota•Heights construct said improvements and has heretofore ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications there- for, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for said improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That the plans and specifications for said Improvements be and they are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for said improvements all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday, May 5, 1969, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Council Chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated and will then be considered by the Village Council at its next regular Council meeting.
