Res 69 - 225 Accepting Engineer's Report & Calling for Hearing on Proposed Water Main & Sewer Main Extensions to Serve Curley's Valley View Area & Areas Adjacent Theretoa; r VILLAGE OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO.. 225 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN AND SEWER MAIN EXTENSIONS TO SERVE CURLEY'S VALLEY VIEW AREA AND AREAS ADJACENT THERETO. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements: The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the re- construction where necessary of streets in the area here- inafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension to the Village water distribution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the recon- struction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the West one-quarter corner of Section 26 T. 28 N. R.23 W., at Lexington Avenue and S.T.H. 110 thence East on the one-quarter line of said Section 26 to the West Right -of -Way line of F.A.I. 35 E; thence Southerly on the West Right -of -Way line of F.A.I. 35E to a point approximately 1700 feet South of the North Section line of Section 35, Town 28 Range 23; thence Westerly and parallel to the North line of aforesaid Section 35 to a point approximately 200 feet West of Lexington Avenue; thence North and parallel to Lexington Avenue to the one-quarter line of Section 27 Town 28 Range 23 West; thence East on one-quarter line of said Section 27 to point of Beginning. WHEREAS, in said Report, said Village Engineer reported that the pro- posed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desir- able and further reported on the proposed cost of said improvements; NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the report of said Village Engineer be and is hereby received, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Public Hearing on said improvements be held on Tuesday, June 3, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the new Mendota Heights Village Hall located at 2010 South Lexington Avenue in the Village of Mendota Heights, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk, with the aid and assistance of the Village Attorney, be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice of said hearing and to cause said notice to be published and mailed to the owners of the property situated within said area, all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes.
