RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF LANDS
NECESSARY FOR TILSEN'S HIGHLAND HEIGHTS AREA
AND SOMERSET HILLS AREA WATER AND SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS (IMPROVEMENT NO. 69, PROJECT
NO. 2 and IMPROVEMENT NO. 68, PROJECT NO. 6).
WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined to proceed with
the construction of an extension to the Village sanitary sewer system
and the Village water distribution system to serve Tilsen Highland
Heights and the area adjacent thereto (which improvements have here-
tofore been known and designated as Improvement No. 69, Project No. 2)
and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined to proceed with
the construction of an extension of the Village sanitary sewer system
and the Village water distribution system to serve Somerset Hills and
the areas adjacent thereto (which improvements have heretofore been
known and designated as Improvement No. 68, Project No. 6), and
WHEREAS, to construct said improvements, it will be necessary for the
Village to. -acquire all lands, right of way and easements required in
order to facilitate the construction'of'said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1) That it is necessary and in the best interests of the
Village.of Mendota Heights to acquire all lands, properties
and easements required for the construction of the aforedes-
cribed improvements, and
2) That the Village Attorney be and is hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the Village of Mendota Heights to acquire
by negotiation or by eminent domain proceedings if necessary
all lands, properties and easements required for the construc-
tion of said improvements.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights this
17th day of June, 1969.
