Res 70 - 291 Approving Plans & Specifications & Ordering Advertisement for Bids for Sanitary Sewer & Water Improvements to Serve the Rogers Lake AreaVillage of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION No. 291 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFI- CATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SANITARY SEWER AND WATER IMPROVE- MENTS TO SERVE THE ROGERS LAKE AREA (IMPROVEMENT NO. 69, PROJECT NO. 1) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of the Village sanitary sewer and water system to serve the Roge'rs Lake area, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of easements and the reconstruction, where necessary, of streets in said area (which improvements have heretofore been designated as Improvement No. 69, Project No. 1), and WHEREAS, in said report the Village Engineer reported that said pro- posed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined that it is advisable, feasible, expedi6nt and necessary that the Village of Mendota Heights construct said improvements and has heretofore ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications there- for, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for said improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That the plans and specifications for the construction of said improvements be and are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for said improvements; all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 o"clock P.M. on Tuesday, February 10, 1970, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Council Chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village y Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will then be considered by the Village Council at its next regular meeting.
