RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND CALLING FOR
HEARING ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS,
A WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND SANITARY AND STORM SEWER
SYSTEMS TO SERVE THE WILLOW SPRINGS AND BRECKENRIDGE
ESTATES SUBDIVISIONS AND ADJACENT AREAS
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Vil-
lage Council with respect to the proposed construction of the fol-
lowing improvements:
The construction of an extension to Village sanitary
sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals
thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the re-
construction where necessary of streets in the area here-
inafter more particularly described.
The construction of a storm.sewer system including appur-
tenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of
easements, in and for the area hereinafter more parti-
cularly described.

The construction of an extension to the Village water
distribution system including appurtenances and inci-
dentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and
the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the
area hereinafter more particularly described.
The construction of street improvements consisting of the
grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing,
and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the
streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more parti-
cularly described, and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, and is more parti-
cularly described as follows:
All properties abutting Wachtler Avenue, Wentworth Ave-,
nue and Dodd Road in the Southeast one-fourth of the
Northeast one-fourth (SE 1/4 of NE 1/4) and the North
330 feet of the East 330 feet of the Southeast one-
fourth (SE 1/4) in Section 23, the South one-half of -
the Northwest one-fourth (S 1/2 of NW 1/4) and the
North one-half of the Southwest one-fourth (N 1/2 of
SW 1/4) in Section 24;
All properties within the Willow Spring's Subdivision
abutting Marie Avenue and Callahan Place in Sections 24
and 25;
All properties in the North 800 feet of Section 25 lying
east of Dodd Road abutting on Marie Avenue, Callahan
Place and Delaware Avenue;
All properties in the South one-half of the Southeast
one-fourth (S 1/2 of.SE 1/4) of Section 24, including
a part of Lot 49, Auditor's Subdivision No. 3;
All of the above Sections and Subdivisions lying in Town-
ship 28 North (T28N), Range 23 West (R23W) in Dakota
County.
WHEREAS, in said report said Village Engineer reported that the pro-
posed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and de-
sirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improve-
ments.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY
RESOLVED, that the report of said Village Engineer be and
is hereby received, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing on said im-
provements be held on Tuesday, February 10, 1970, at
8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall of the Village of
Mendota Heights, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk, with the
aid and assistance of the Village Attorney, be and is
hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice of
said hearing and to cause said notice to be published
and mailed to the owners of the property situated with-
in said area, all in accordance with the applicable Min-
nesota Statutes.
