RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND CALLING FOR
HEARING ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS,
A WATER"DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND SANITARY AND STORM SEWER
SYSTEMS TO SERVE EAGLE RIDGE AND ADJACENT AREAS
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Vil-
lage Council with respect to the proposed construction of the fol-
lowing improvements:
The construction of an extension to Village sanitary
sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals
thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the re-
construction where necessary of streets in the area here-
inafter more particularly described.
The construction of a storm sewer system including appur-
tenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of
easements, in and for the area hereinafter more parti-
cularly described.
The construction of an extension,to the Village water
distribution system including appurtenances and inci-
dentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and
the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the
area hereinafter more particularly described.
The construction of street improvements consisting of the
grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing,
and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the
streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more parti-
cularly described, and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, and is more parti-
cularly described as follows:
All of the Southwest one-fourth (SW 1/4) of the South-
east one-fourth (SE 1/4) of Section 23, Township 28
North, Range 23 West.
All of the Northwest one-fourth (NW 1/4) and the West one-
fourth (W 1/4) of the Northeast one-fourth (NE 1/4) and
that part of the Southwest'one-fourth (SW 1/4) lying North
of FAI 35E all in the Northeast one-fourth (NE 1/4) of
Section 26, Township 28 North, Range 23 West.
Lot 3, Block 1, of Ridgewood Park Subdivision to Dakota
County.
All of the East one-half (E 1/2) of the Northwest one-
fourth (NW 1/4) of Section 26, Township 28 North, Range
23 West, including the area plotted as Wagenknecht's Ad-
dition to Dakota County.
WHEREAS, in said report said Village Engineer reported that the pro-
posed improvements -and construction thereof were feasible and de-
sirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improve-
ments.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY
RESOLVED, that the report of said Village Engineer be and
is hereby received, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing on said im-
provements be held on Tuesday, February 10, 1970, at
8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall of the Village of
Mendota Heights, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk, with the
aid and assistance of the Village Attorney, be and is
hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice of
said hearing and to cause- saztd notice to- be- published
and mailed to -the owners of.the property situated with-
in said area, all in accordance with the applicable Min-
nesota Statutes.
Adopted by the Village Council this 6th day of January, 1970.
