RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION
OF AN EXTENSION TO THE VILLAGE SANITARY SEWER
SYSTEM TO SERVE PROPERTIES ALONG WENTWORTH
AVENUE FROM WACHTLER AVENUE TO DODD ROAD AND
ALONG DODD ROAD FROM WENTWORTH AVENUE TO BACHELOR
AVENUE,
Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village
respect to the proposed construction of the following
The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary
sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals
thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the re-
construction where necessary of streets in the area
hereinafter more particularly described.
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, and is more particu-
larly described as follows:
All properties abutting Wachtler Avenue, Wentworth
Avenue and Dodd Road in the Southeast one-fourth of the
Northeast one-fourth (SEr1/4 of NE 1/4) and the North
330 feet of the East 330 feet of the Southeast one-
fourth (SE 1/4) in Section 23 and the South one-half of
the Northwest one-fourth (S 1/2 of NW 1/4) and the
North one-half of the Southwest one-fourth (N 1/2 of
SW 1/4) in Section 24;
All of the above Sections and Subdivisions lying in
Township 28 North (T28N), Range 23 West (R23W) in
Dakota County.
WHEREAS, in said report said Village Engineer reported that the pro-
posed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and de-
sirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) That the report of said Village Engineer be and is
hereby received, and
2) That a public hearing on said improvements be held on
Tuesday, March 17, 1970, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village
of Mendota Heights, and
3) That the Village Clerk, with the aid and assistance
of the Village Attorney, be and is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare a notice of said hearing and to
cause said notice to be published and mailed to the owners
of the property situated within said area, all in accordance
with the applicable Minnesota Statutes.
Adopted by the Village Council this 17th day of February, 1970.
