Res 70 - 312 Approving Plans & Specifications & Ordering Advertisement for Bids for Street Improvements in the Cherry Hills SubdivisionVillage of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 312 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA- TIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CHERRY HILLS SUBDIVISION (IMPROVEMENT NO. 70, PROJECT NO. 1) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of street improvements consisting of the grading, stabilization, and bituminous surfacing of the streets situated in the Cherry Hills Subdivision, and WHEREAS, in said report the Village Engineer reported that said proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed cost of said improve- ments, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined that it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village of Mendota Heights construct said improvements and has heretofore ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications therefor, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for said improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: 1) That the plans and specifications for the construction of said improvements be and are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed • to advertise for bids for said improvements all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 2, 1970 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Council chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated and will then be considered by the Village Council at its next regular meeting.
