RESOLUTION NO. 343
RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE VILLAGE
HAS ADEQUATE REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICE
AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING BURNING OF REFUSE
WHEREAS, all refuse collection services and garbage haulers licensed
to operate in the Village of Mendota Heights were duly advised in
writing that the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights
would hold a hearing at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on May 19, 1970 at the
Mendota Heights Village Hall on the question of whether or not
adequate collection services are currently available to serve
residences within the Village, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council proceeded to hear all parties interested
in said question,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1) That there are adequate refuse collection services
currently available to adequately remove refuse from
residences situated,within the Village of Mendota Heights.

2) That the Village Attorney is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare!an ordinance prohibiting the burning
of refuse within the Village of Mendota Heights.

this 19th day of May, 1970.
