RESOLUTION NO. 345
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
EASEMENTS FOR VILLAGE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Village Attorney reported that Frederick T. and
Ruth V. Meyer, the owners of Parcel No. 1-2 in the condemnation
proceedings heretofore commenced by the Village relative to the
North Ivy Hills IiAprovement Project (Imp. -No. 69, Proj. No. 5),
have offered to convey a utility easement to the Village covering
said Parcel No. 1-2!in consideration for a total payment by the
Village of $900, and
WHEREAS, the Village Attorney reported that Robert J. and Lorraine A.
Monson, the owners of Parcel No. 3 in the condemnation proceedings
heretofore commenced by the Village relative to the North Ivy Hills
Improvement Project,(Imp. No. 69, Proj. No. 5), have offered to
convey a utility easement to the Village covering said Parcel No. 3
in consideration for a total payment by the Village of $500, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village to acquire said
easements in consideration for the consideration set forth above.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the -Village Council of
the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1)_ That the Village Attorney be and is hereby authorized
and directed to take all steps necessary, to consummate
the acquisition of said easements by the Village of
Mendota Heights.
2) That the Village pay to said landowners the consideration
set forth above as and for the consideration for the acquisi-
tion by the Village of said easements.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights
this 19th day of May, 1970.
