RESOLUTION NO. 353
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
OF LANDS NECESSARY FOR IMPROVEMENT
NO. 70, PROJECT NO. 3 AND IMPROVEMENT
NO. 70, PROJECT NO. 5
WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined to proceed
with the construction of the following described improvements:
Street improvements, a water distribution system and
sanitary and storm sewer systems to serve the Willow
Springs and Breckenridge Estates Subdivision and
adjacent areas (Imp. 70, Proj. 3).
An extension to the Village sanitary sewer system along
Wentworth Avenue from Wachtler Avenue to Dodd Road and
along Dodd Road from Wentworth Avenue to Bachelor Avenue
(Imp. 70, Proj. 3).
An extension to the Village sanitary sewer system to serve
certain properties along Dodd Road, Fourth Avenue Arid
Clement Street (Imp. 70, Proj. 3).
A water distribution system, sanitary and storm sewer
systems and street improvements to serve the new
Sibley High School and the freeway road area and ada-�
cent areas (Imp. 70'; Proj. 5) , and
WHEREAS, to construct said improvements, it will be necessary'for the
Village to acquire certain lands, right .of ways, and easements required
in order to facilitate the construction of said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1) That it is necessary and in the best interests of the
Village of Mendota Heights to acquire all lands, properties,
easements and right of ways required for the construction of
the aforedescribed improvements, and
2) That the Village Attorney be and is hereby authorized
and directed on behalf of the Village of Mendota Heights
to institute eminent domain proceedings to acquire all lands,
properties, easements and right of ways required for the
construction or in order to facilitate the construction
of said improvements.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights this
2nd day of June, 1970.
