RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR EAGLE RIDGE
AREA IMPROVEMENTS (IMPROVEMENT NO.70, PROJECT NO.2)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the
Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of
the following improvements to serve Eagle Ridge and adjacent
areas, to -wit:
The construction of an extension to the Village
sanitary sewer system, including apprutenances and
incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements,
and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in
said area.
The construction of a storm sewer system including
appurtenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisi-
tion of easements, in and for said area.
The construction of an extension to the Village water
distribution system including appurtenances and inci-
dentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and
the reconstruction where necessary of streets in said
area.
The construction of street improvements consisting of
the grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous
surfacing, and the construction of concrete curbs and
gutters on the streets to be situated in said area.

WHEREAS, said improvements have heretofore been known and
designated as Improvement No. 70, Project No. --2, and
WHEREAS, in said reports the Village Engineer reported that said
proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and
desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said
improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined that it
is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village
of Mendota Heights construct said improvements and has heretofore
ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed
that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans
and specifications therefor, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifica-
tions for said improvements and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Village Council for approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) That the plans and specifications for the construction
of said improvements be and are hereby in all respects
approved.
2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance
of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise for bids for said improvements, all
in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes,
such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the
Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday,
July 20, 1970, at which time they will be publicly opened
in the Village Council Chambers of the Village Hall by
at least one of the members of the Village Council and
the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will
then be considered by the Village Council at its next
regular meeting.
