RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLLS
FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 68, PROJECT NO. 5, IMPROVEMENT
NO. 68, PROJECT NO. 61 IMPROVEMENT NO. 68, PROJECT
NO. 9, IMPROVEMENT NO. 69, PROJECT NO. 2, IMPROVE-
MENT NO. 69, PROJECT NO. 3, IMPROVEMENT NO. 69,
PROJECT NO. 4, IMPROVEMENT NO. 69, PROJECT NO. 5,
IMPROVEMENT NO. 70, PROJECT NO. 1 AND FOR FURLONG
AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Village Clerk, with the aid and assistance of the
Village Engineer, was previously directed to prepare the assessment
roll for the following described improvements:
1. The construction of a water distribution system, sanitary
and storm sewers, and of street, curb, and gutter improve-
ments to serve Highland Heights South Subdivision and
the area adjacent thereto (which improvements have
-heretofore been designated as Improvement No. 68,
Project No. 5).
2. The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary
sewer and water distribution systems, including appurte-
nances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition
'of easements, and°the reconstruction wherd noeessary
of streets in the Somerset Hills Subdivision and the
areas adjacent thereto (which improvements have
heretofore been designated as Improvement 68, Project
No. 6) .
3. The construction of a sanitary sewer system, including
appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the construc-
tion of a water main system, including appurtenances
and incidentals thereto, and the construction of a storm
sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals
thereto, and the construction, and reconstruction where
necessary, of streets in the Southwest Industrial
area (which improvements have heretofore been designated
as Improvement 68, Project No. 9).
4. The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary
sewer and water distribution systems, including appurte-
nances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition
of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary
of streets in the Tilsen Highland Heights and the areas
adjacent thereto (which improvements have heretofore
been designated as Improvement 69, Project No. 2).
5. The construction of a sanitary sewer system including
appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition
of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary
of streets in the Cherry Hills Addition and in the area
immediately adjacent thereto (which improvements have
heretofore been designated as Improvement 69, Project
No. 3) .
6. The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary
sewer and water distribution systems, including appurte-
nances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition
of easements, and the -reconstruction where necessary of
streets in the Curley's Valley View and the areas adjacent
thereto (which improvements have heretofore been desig-
nated as Improvement 69, Project No. 4).
7. The construction of a storm sewer system, a sanitary
sewer system, and a water distribution system to serve
the North Ivy Hills Addition and the construction of
bituminous surfaced streets and concrete curbs and
gutters upon all of the streets in said North Ivy Hills
Addition (which improvements have heretofore been desig-
nated as Improvement 69, Project No. 5).
8. The construction of street improvements consisting of
the grading, stabilization, and bituminous surfacing
of the streets situated in the Cherry Hills Subdivision
(which.improvements have heretofore been designated
as Improvement 70, Project No. 1.
9. The construction of street improvements consisting
of the grading, stabilization, drainage and gravel
surfacing of Furlong Avenue.

WHEREAS, the Village Clerk has notified the Village Council that
such proposed assessment rolls for each of the above described
improvements have been completed and filed in his office for public
inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) That a public hearing on said proposed assessment
rolls shall be held at the Mendota Elementary School
in the Village of Mendota Heights on Thursday,
October 8, 1970, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.
2) That the Village Clerk, with the aid and assistance of
the Village Attorney, is hereby authorized and directed
to prepare and attend to the publication and mailing of the
necessary notices of said hearing, all in accordance with
the applicable Minnesota Statutes.
