RESOLUTION N0. 460
RESOLUTION ORDERING SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAINS,
STREET, CURB AND GUTTER TO SERVE CERTAIN PRO-
PERTIES LOCATED TO THE NORTH OF FRIENDLY HZLLS
REARRANGEMENT AND ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the lst day of February, 1972,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hal1 of the Village of Mendota
Heights, Minnesota, pursuant to resolution adopted by the Village
Council of the Village of Mendota Heights on January 4, 1972, on the
question of the proposed construction of the following described
improvements:
The construction of an extension to the Village sanitary sewer
system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto to be
located in the area hereinafter more particularly described.
The construction of an extension to the Village water distri-
bution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto
to be located in the area hereinaf ter more particularly des-
cribed.
The construction of street improvements consisting of the
grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing,
and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the
street to be situated in the area hereinafter more particularly
described, and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and is more
particularly described as all property abutting the following des-
cribed property, to-wit:
The North 60 f eet of the South 260 feet of that part of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township
28 North, Range 23 West lying westerly of the westerly right
of way line of proposed New State Trunk Highway No. 49.
WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing on said
proposed construction has been attended to, and
WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than 10
days before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel
situated within the area proposed to be assessed, a11 in accordance
with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer reported that the proposed improvements
and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further
reported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction
thereo£, and

WHEREAS, the Village Council then proceeded to hear all persons
interested in said improvements and•all persons were afforded an
opportunity to present their views and objections to the making of
said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
l.) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary
that the Village of Mendota Heights construct the above
described improvements, and it is hereby ordered that said
improvements be made.
2) That the Village Engineer be and is hereby instructed
to proceed with the preparation of the necessary plans
and specifications for said improvements.
3) That hereafter said improvements shall be known and
designated as Improvement No. 72, Project No. 3.
Adopted by the Village Council this lst day of February, 1972.
