Res 72 - 480 Calling for Hearing on Proposed Vacation of a Portion of Hazel StreetVillage of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 480 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF HAZEL STREET WHEREAS, a petition has been duly presented to the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights requesting the vacation of the following street situated in the Village of Mendota Heights, which petition has been signed by a majority of the owners of the property abutting upon the following described street situated in the Village of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, to-wit: All that part of the street known as Hazel Street lying Easterly of the Easterly right of way line of State Trunk Highway No. 49 (also sometimes known as Jefferson Highway) situated between Lots 9 and 10, and Lots 11 and 12 in Haselberger Addition. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: 1) That a hearing on said petition to vacate the above described street shall be held in the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, May 16, 1972. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to attend to the publication and posting of a notice of hearing on said petition to vacate the above described street all in accordance with the Minnesota Statutes. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit'in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
