Res 72 - 483 Approving Plans & Specifications & Ordering Advertisement for Bids for 1972 Street Oiling & Seal CoatingVillage of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 483 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA- TIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 1972 STREET OILING AND SEAL COATING WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared p.lans and specifications for proposed 1972 street oiling and seal coating improvements for certain streets in the Village and has presented said plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has reported to the Village Council that the proposed improvements and construction thereof are feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: 1) That the plans and specifications for the Village wide 1972 street oiling and seal coating improvements be and the same are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for said improvements all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 p.m. on May 11, 1972, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Council chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated and will then be considered by the Village Council at its next regular meeting. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to JanuarY 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaPer and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
