Res 72 - 487 Authorizing Vacation of a Portion of Hazel Street�-� •.t ;�;` -."'iaS� Village of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 48'7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING VACATION OF A PORTION OF HAZEL STREET WHEREAS, a petition has been duly presented to the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights signed by a majority of the owners of the property abutting upon the following described street situated in the Village of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, to-wit: All that part of the street known as Hazel Street lying Easterly of the Easterly right of way line of State Trunk Highway No. 49 (also sometimes known as Jefferson Highway) situated between Lots 9 and 10, and Lots 11 and 12 in Haselberger Addition. and • WHEREAS, notice of a hearing on said petition has been duly published and posted more than two weeks before the date scheduled for a hearing on said petition all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and ' WFiEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petition on Tuesday, May 16, 1972, at 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights, and WHEREAS, the Village Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested in said petition and all persons interested were afforded an opportunity to present their views and objections to the granting of said petition, and WHEREAS, there were no objections presented to said petition. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That the vacation of that part of the street more particularly described above situated in the Village of Mendota Heights is in the best interests of the public and the Village. 2) That the following described street situated in the Village of Mendota Heights, Dakota County, Minnesota, to-wit: � All that part of the street known as Hazel Street-lying Easterly of the Easterly right of way line of State Trunk Highway No. 49 (also sometimes known as Jefferson Highway) situated between Lots 9 and 10, and Lots 11 and 12 in Haselberger Addition. be and the same is hereby vacated. 3) That the Village Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and present to the proper Dakota County officials a notice of completion of these vacation proceedings all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes.
