RESOLUTION NO. 495
RESOLUTION ORDERING WATER MAINS, SANITARY
AND STORM 5EWERS, AND STREET, CURB AND GUTTER
IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVE PART OF THE PAGEL ROAD
AREA AND ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS THEREFOR
WFiEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 23rd day of May, 1972,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Mendota Elementary School in the Village
of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, pursuant to resolution adopted by
the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights on May 2, 1972,
on the question of the proposed construction of the following des-
cribed improvements:
The construction of a sanitary sewer system, including.appurte-
nances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements,
and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area
hereinafter more particularly described.
The construction of a storm sewer system including appurtenances
and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of easements, in
and for the area hereinafter more particularly described.
The construction of an extension to the Village water distri-
bution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto,
and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where
necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly
described.
The construction of street improvements consisting of the grading,
stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing, and the con-
struction of concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be
situated in the area hereinafter more particul.arly described,
and '
WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing on said
proposed construction has been attended to, and �
WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than 10
days before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel
situated within the area proposed to be assessed, all in accordance
with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer reported that the proposed improvements
and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further
reported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction
thereof, and

WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the Village of Mendota Heights in Dakota County,
Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows:
' Lots 1 thru 15 of Haselberger�Addition
Lots 16 and 17, Block 21, Friendly Hills Rearrangement.
The West 248.92 feet of the North 175 feet of the
South 205 feet of the South 135 acres of the
�Northwest 1/4, Section 36, Township 28 North,
Range 23 West.
The Northwest 1/4 of Southwest 1/4 of Section 36,
� Township 28 North, Range 23 West.
WHEREAS, the Village Council then proceeded to hear all persons
interested in said improvements and all persons were afforded an
opportunity to present their views and objections to the making of
said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary
that the Village of Mendota Heights construct the above
descri'bed improvements, and it is hereby ordered that said
improvements be made.
2) That the Village Engineer be and is hereby instru�ted
to proceed with the preparation of the necessary plans
and specifications for said improvements.

3) That hereafter said improvements shall be known and
designated as Improvement No. 72, Project No. 2.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights
this 6th day of June, 1972.
