Res 72 - 512 Approving Plans & Specifications & Ordering Advertisement for Bids for Rogers Lakeside East Improvements. Village of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 512 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR ROGERS LAKESIDE EAST IMPROVEMENTS (IMPROVEMENT NO. 72, PROJECT NO. 5) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village Council with respect to the proposed construction of sanitary and storm sewer, water mains and street, curb and gutter improvements to serve the Rogers Lakeside East area (which improvements have heretofore been known and designated as Improvement No. 72, Project No . 5 ) , and WHEREAS, the Village Council has heretofore determined that it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the Village of Mendota Heights construct said sanitary and storm sewer, water main, and street, curb and gutter improvements and has heretofore ordered that said improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer proceed with the preparation of plans and specifica- tions therefor, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for said sanitary and storm sewer, water main, and street, curb and gutter improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Village Council for approval. . NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That the plans and specifications for said sanitary and storm sewer, water main, and street, curb and gutter improvements be and they are hereby in all respects approved. 2) That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of the Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for said improvements all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights by 2:00 o'clock P.M., Friday, October 6, 1972, at which time � r w they will be publicly opened in the Village Council Chambers of the Village Hall by at least one of the members of the Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will then be considered by the Village Council at its next regular Council meeting.
