RESOLUTION NO. 73-26
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SOMERSET N0. 2
IMPROVEPRENTS (IMPROVEMENT N0. 72, PROJECT N0. 6)
WHEREAS,�the Village Engineer has submitted his report to the Village
Council with respect to the proposed construction of sanitary sewers,
water mains, storm sewers, and street improvements to serve the Somerset
No. 2 Subdivision (which improvements have heretofore been known and
designated as Improvement No. 72, Project No. 6), and

WHEREAS,'the Village Council has heretofore determined that it is
advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the V311age of Mendota
Heights construct said improvements and has heretofore ordered that said
improvements be made and has further directed that the Village Engineer
proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications therefor, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications
for said improvements and has presented such plans and specifications
to the Village Council for approval.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1) 'That the plans and specifications for said improve-
ments be and they are hereby in all respects approved.
2) ;That the Village Clerk with the aid and assistance of
the'Village Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise for bids for said improvements a11 in accordance
with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, such bids to be
received at the Village Hall of the Village of Mendota Heights
by 2:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, May 22, 1973, at which time
they will be publicly opened in the Village Council Chambers
of the Village Iiall by at least one of the members of the
Village Council and the Village Engineer, will then be tabu-
lated, and will then be considered by the Village Council at
its next regular Council meeting.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Mendota Heights this
17th day;of April, 1973.
