Res 74 - 25 Authorizing Conveyance of Property to Mendakota Country ClubCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 74-25 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY TO MENDAKOTA COUNTRY CLUB WHEREAS, Mendakota Country Club has filed a written petition with the Council requesting approval of the conveyance to it of the following described property situated in the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, to-wit: The foll.owing described parcel, to-wit: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the East one-half of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Twenty-Eight (28), Range Twenty- Three (23), thence North eight (8) rods,"thence East five (5) rods , thence .S,outh e.ight ( 8) rods , thence West f ive ( 5) rods to the place of beginning; and The following described parcel, to-wit: The South one (l) acre of tlie East One-Half (E 1/2) of the West One-Ha1f (W 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the 5outheast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Twenty-Eight (28), Range Twenty-Three (23), except the following part thereof, to-wit: Commencing at the Southwest (SW) corner of the East Half (E 1/2) of the West Half (W 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the 5outheast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Twenty-Eight (28), Range Twenty-Three (23), thence North 8 rods, thence East 5 rods, thence South 8 rods, thence West 5 rods to the place of beginning. and WHEREAS, the above described parcel contains one acre of land, and WHEREAS, said parcel is presently owned in fee by Herbert Warnke and is being purchased from said Herbert Warnke by Perkegwin Investment Company, a partnership under a contract for deed, and WHEREAS, said petition of Mendakota Country Club requests the approval of the conveyance of said parcel by said Herbert Warnke to said Perkegwin Investment Company and the subsequent conveyance by said Perkegwin Investment Company to said Mendakota Country Club without the necessity of a plat or the platting of said parcel, and WHEREAS, the Council is of the opinion that said conveyance of said parcel without a plat or the platting thereof would be in the best interests of the City of Mendota Heights. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that the conveyance of the above described parcel by Herbert Warnke to Perkegwin Investment Company and the conveyance thereof by Perkegwin Investment Company to Mendakota Country Club without the necessity of a plat or the platting thereof be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
