Res 74 - 26 Ordering Inland Industrial Park Improvements & Ordering Final Plans & Specifications Therefor`=�.. v �� r.;a CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION N0. 74-26 RESOLUTION ORDERING INLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS AND ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR (IMPROVEMENT N0. 74, PROJECT N0. 1) WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 19th day of March, 1974, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, pursuant to resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights on February 19, 1974, on the question of the proposed construction of the following described improvements: The construction of a sanitary sewer system, including appurte- nances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of a storm sewer system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of easements, in and for the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension to the Village wa�ter distribu- tion system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of street improvements consisting of the grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing, and the con- struction of concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more particularly described, and WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing on said proposed construction has been attended to, and WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than 10 days before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel situated within the area proposed to be assessed, all in accordance ,, with the applicable Minnesota 5tatutes, and � WHEREAS, the Village Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and.desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction thereof , and �'R s�� :f' WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the Village of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is more �articularly described as follows: That part of Gove�nment Lots 1 and 2 in Section 33, Township 28, Range 23 lying West of the East 660 feet thereof, lying Southerly of Mendota Heights Road and lying Easterly of the right of way of future State Trunk Highway No. 13. � WHEREAS, the City Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested in said i.mprovements and all persons were afforded an opportunity to present their views and objections to the making of said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the City of Mendota Heights construct the above described improvements, and it is hereby ordered that said i.mprovements be made. 2) That the City Engineer be and is hereby instructed to proceed with the preparation of the necessary plans and specifications for said improvements. 3) That hereafter said improvements sha11 be known and designated as Improvement No. 74, Project No. l.
