RESOLUTION N0. 75-22
RESOLUTION EXTENDING BUILDING MOR.ATORIUM
ESTABLISHED IN RESOLUTION N0. 74-100
�_ WHEREAS, under the provisions of Resolution No. 74-100 adopted
by the City Council on November 19, 1974, the Council established
a 120-day moratorium on building and development in the area abounded
by State Trunk Highway No. 55, State Trunk Highway No. 110, Resurrec-
tion Cemetery and Mendota Heights Road, and
WHEREAS, the conditions set forth in said Resolution No. 74-100
have continued to exist without any significant change.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that the moratorium on any future development
within the area hereinabove described be continued for a period of
sixty days from the date hereof, and
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Building Inspector
shall refuse to issue building permits within said area during said
period, and
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission and
City Council shall forthwith pursue whatever additional planning is
necessary for the area taking into account the numerous factors
affecting land development within said area.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this
18th day of March, 1975.
