At a(regular)���) meeting of the City Council of the City of YVfendata xeights �
duly held an the 15th day af July , 19 75 , the following Resolution was offered by

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways for the State of Minnesota ha.s caused to be prepared:
plans, special pravisions and specificatians for the impravemen� af Trunk Higi�way Na. �-9�- ,
renumbered as Trunk Iii.ghway No. 13 , w3.thin the corporate 3imits of the City of lVlendota
Heights , irom the Along �he West Corp. �imi�s

; and,
WfiEREAS, said plans are on file in the Off ice of the Department of Highways, 3t. Paul, Minne-
�sota; be3ng marked, labeled and identified as: S.P. 1902-26 (13=1.94)
; and,
W�iEREAS, said special provisions are on �ile in tha Office of the Department af Highways, St.
Paul, Minnesata; being marked, labeled anci identif3ed as: S.F. 1902-26 �13=194�
, and
which, together with, the Minnesota Department of Highways Standard Specifications for Highway
ConstrucCion, dated January 1, 1972, as amended by Minneso�Ca Department of Highways Supple-
mental Specifi.cations for Highway Construction, dated January 1, 1974, will gavern, and which
are an f3.le in the offica of the Cammissionex of Iiighways, constitute the specifications far
�id improvement of Trunk Ha.ghway Na. 19�- , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 13 ; and,
WHEREAS, copies of said plans and special pravisions as so marked, labeled and identified are
alsa on f31e in the Off ice af the City C1erk; and,
WHEREAS, the Cerm, said plans and special pravisions, as hereinafter used in �he body of th3s
Resalution will be deemed and intended to mean, refer to and incorparate the plans and
special provisions in the foregaing reciGals particularly identified and described; and,
,
WHEREAS, the Commissioner af Highways desires in �he interest of pub�.ic safety that any and all
park3.ng of vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of the City of
Mendata .iah�s� an said Trunk Iiighway No. 194 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 13 ,
will be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highwap and will be at least 20 feet fram any
crosswal.k. � ,

NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of
Trunk Highway No.194 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 13 , within the corporate limits
of the City of Mendota Heights , be and hereby are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Mendota Heights does hereby agree to require
the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said
City, on said Trunk Highway No. 194 , renumbered Trunk Highway No. 13 , will be parallel
with the curb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public
streets intersecting said trunk highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the elevations and grades as�shown in said plans and special
provisions are hereby approved and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade
occasioned by the construction of Trunk Highway No. 194 , renumbered Trunk Highway No.
�, in accordance with said plans and special provisions.
Upon the call of the roll, the following Council Members voted in favor of the
Resolution: Mayor ponald Huber, Councilmen Robert Lockwood, James Losleben, .
