Res 76 - 57 Accepting Feasibility Report for Proposed Ivy Falls West Addition Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Water & Street Improvements & Ordering Preparation of Plans & Specifications ThereforCity of Mendota Neights Dakota County, �Iinnesota RESOLUTION N0. 76-57 RFSOLUTION ACCEPTING FE�SIBILITY REPORT FOR PROPOSED IVY FALLS WEST ADDITION SANITARY SEWER, STORM SE��TER, WATER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND ORDERING PREPARA- � TION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR (TMPROVEMENT NO. 75, PROJECT N0. 3- STAGE II) V�lHEREAS, the City Engineer has heretofore submitted his report to the City Council with respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements: The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisiti�n of easements, and the recon- struction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of a storm sewer system including appurte- nances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of easements, in and for the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension to the City's water distri- bution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of street improvements consisting of the acauisition of easements and the grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing, and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more particularly described. �aHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: All properties abuttinq Emerson Avenue from Wachtler Avenue to Clement Street, Medora Road from Emerson Avenue to First Avenue and Knollwood Lane from Emerson Avenue to the terminus of Knollwood Lane approximately 500 feet southerly thereof. and V�THEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted an updated or amended report to the City Council with respect to the proposed construction of the above-described improvements, and � - ....�- WHEREAS, in said amended report said City Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improve- ments. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That the amended report of said City Engineer be and is hereby received and said report is hereby approved. 2) That the City Engineer be and is hereby instructed to proceed with the preparation of the necessary plans and specifications for said improvements.
