RESQLUTI4N SETTING SEWER REi�T�'AL CHARGES
, FOR SINGLF FAMILY DWELLINGS, MULTIPLE
�--� DWELLINGS, AMENITY STRUCTURES, SCHOOLS,
CHURCHES, PUBLIC BUILDINGS, COMMERCIAL
AND INDUSTRIAL USERS
WHEREAS, �rdinance Na. 803 provides that the sewer rental charges �or
the use o� the City municipal sewer system by any single family resi-
dence,, duplex, schoal, churchr publie building, multiple �'amily
dwelling, commercial or industrial user shall be determined fram
time to time by resolutian o� the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that users pay on �he basi� o� sewage
generated;
NOW Ti3EREFaRE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
o� Mendota Heights that the �ollowing schedule of sewer rates be
established:
i. Single Family Residence, including Tawnhau�es with indi-
vidual sewer and water serva,ces:
A. Dwellings served by a central water system:
1. �ewer charge shall be based on water usage
during the immediately preceding November, December �
and January based an the tatal of the �ollowing:
(i) A minimum of $9.35 per Quarter shall be
charged �or water usage of 29 200 Cu. Ft. or
less;
(ii) Wa�er usage in excess of 29 100 Cu. Ft.
shall be at the rate af 32 cents per lOQ Cu. Ft.
For the purpases of this res.olution, I00 Cu. Ft.
shall be deemed equal to 748 U. S. Gallans.
B. Dwellings served by on-site, individual wells sha11
pay a flat charge af $I0.25 per Quarter.
II. Residential Complexes, incltzding Muitiple Dwel2ings,
Duplexes, Ta�mhouses,.Apar�Gments, Condominiums, and
Amenity Structures with less than a.ne sewer arzd water
service per dwelling unit:

A. $9.35 per Dwelling Unit per Quarter
or
B. 32 cents per 100 Cu. Ft. of water used in the
immediately preceding November, December and
January Quarter,
whichever is larger.

Commercial, Industrial, Church, Public Building, or School
A. Sewer rental shall be based on water used during
the previous Quarter. The Rate applicable shall
be as follows:
l. Sewer users with metered water supply:
(i) 32 cents per 100 Cu. Ft. of water used,
billed quarterly, based on previous quarter
water use. The Minimum Quarterly charges
for such use shall be as follows:

B. Commercial, Industrial, Church, Public Building or School
sewer users, whose water is metered, may petition for
adjusted billings if satisfactory evidence indicates
that less than 90� of water used is discharged into the
sanitary sewer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that

sewer rental charges shall be payable quarterly for each of the
quarterly periods ending March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31
of each year. In the case of a connection to the municipal sewer system
occurring during a quarter, the quarterly charge shall be prorated from
the date of such connection. Payment of such rental charge for each
quarter shall be made to the City by the twenty-second day of the month
immediately following the last month of the quarter;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 73-17 adopted on February 20,
1973, be and the same is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
