RESOLUTION NO. 78-26'
RESOLUTION EXTENDING RATES TO BE
CHARGED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 201
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 201 grants to Mendota Water Company a non-
exclusive right and franchise to construct, maintain and operate
a system for the supply of water for domestic, public and other
uses within the area more particularly described in said ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, under date of May 17, 1977, the City Council by Ordinance
No. 147 amended paragraph 3.4 of Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 201
in which amendment the rates to be charged by said Mendota Water
Company for the period from June 1, 1977, through March 31, 1978,
were to be as more particularly set forth in said Ordinance No. 147,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would be in the
best interests of the City and the residents served by said franchise
to have the rate schedule set forth in said Ordinance No. 147 further
extended for the period from April 1, 1978, through May 31, 1978.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows.
That the rates to be charged by said Mendota Water Company
more particularly set forth in Ordinance No. 147 be and
the same are hereby extended for the period from April 1,
1978, through May 31, 1978.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this
21st day of March, 1978.
