RESOLUTION NO. 78-21
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING VACATION OF
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council on its own motion has determined to consider
the vacation of that portion of the outstanding utility and drainage
property situated in the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County,
Minnesota, to -wit:
That part of Lot 8, Block 3, Somerset Park No. 3 described
as follows:
Beginning at a point 100 feet South and 10 feet East of
Northwest corner of said Lot 8, said point also being on
the Northerly line of the existing utility and drainage
easement, thence South 20 feet parallel and 10 feet East
of the West line of said Lot 8, thence Easterly to a
point 5 feet West and 130 feet South of the Northeast
corner of said Lot 8, thence North 30 feet parallel and
5 feet West of the East line of said Lot 8, thence West
89.27 feet, along the North line of the existing easement
to the point of beginning.
and
WHEREAS, notice of a hearing on said petition has been duly published
and posted more than two weeks before the date scheduled for a hearing
on said petition all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota
Statutes, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petition on Tuesday, March 7,
1978, at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall of the City of Mendota Heights, and
WHEREAS, the City Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested
in said petition and all persons interested were afforded an opportunity
to present their views and objections to the granting of said petition,
and
WHEREAS, there were no objections presented to said petition.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
