RESOLUTION DEDICATING CITY LAND FOR A SERVICE ROAD NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 110 BETWEEN LEXINGTON AVENUE AND HUNTER LANE
WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation,
has agreed to construct a service or frontage road North of Highway
110 between Lexington Avenue and Hunter Lane in Mendota Heights;
WHEREAS, Easements for right-of-way over the land on which the
road is to be constructed are to be obtained by the City of Mendota
Heights;
WHEREAS, A deed of easement for part of the right-of-way has
been received from The Congregation of The Sons of Jacob Synagogue;
WHEREAS, The remainder of the land to be acquired for right-of-
way purposes is located in the Northwest quadrant of the intersection
of Lexington Avenue and Highway 110 (the Civic Center property);
WHEREAS, The City Attorney has determined that the City of Mendota
Heights owns this "Civic Center" property;
WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation
has provided a description for the land to be dedicated for road
purposes, which property is described as follows:
