Res 1980 - 77 Relating to a Project Under the Municipal Industrial Development Act: Calling for a Public Hearing ThereonCounclmember Witt offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which motion was seconded by Councilmember Losleben RESOLUTION NO. 80-77 RESOLUTION RELATING TO A PROJECT UNDER THE MUNICIPAL INDISTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT: CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota (.the "City"), as follows: SECTION 1 RPci'tA 1 s 1.1 At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights held on August 5, 1980 at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the City Hall, the City Council did adopt a Resolution, No. 80-72, providing, in part, for a public hearing to be held on September 2, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the Mendota Heights City Hall, on the proposal by Gayle Brodil, an individual, on behalf of himself or a partnership presently in existence or to be formed by him, to undertake and finance a certain Project, which proposal and Project are more fully described in Resolution No. 80-72. Resolution No. 80-72 is hereby made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein. 1.2 The Borrower, as that term is defined in Resolution No. 80-72, has requested that the public hearing above-described be held on September 16, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the Mendota Heights City Hall. SECTION 2 PublicHearing 2.1 Pursuant to Resolution No. 80-72 and the Recitals contained therein and further pursuant to Section 474.01, Subdivision 7B, of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474, a public hearing on the proposal to undertake and finance the Project, as that term is defined in Resolution No. 80-72, is called and shall be held on September 16, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the Mendota Heights City Hall. 2.2 The City Clerk shall cause notice of the public hearing to be published in the official newpaper of the City and in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, at least once not less than fifteen (15)' nor more than thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, such notice to be in form and substance substantially identical to the form of Notice attached to and part of Resolution No. 80-72, except that the hearing date shall be as hereinabove set.
