Our projections for the year 1973 were made uncertain by the pending court action with Dakota County on personal property taxes. During the last quarter of 1973, this was resolved and is reflected in our audit. A study of the audit and the preparation of a 1974 forecast together show that we can expect to again show a loss for the year. For this reason, it has become necessary for us to come to you and ask for approval for a .rate increase, vIe propose to increase the non-commercial minimum of 37.50 per month to $9.00 per month and the commercial from IP10.00/month to $12.00/month. This minimum is based upon 30,000 gallons/ month and does not include the Minnesota sales tax. For quantities over 30,000 gallons, we propose that overage be increased from $0.40/1,000 gallons to $0.48/1,000 gallons. Based upon our projections -for 1974, this increase will represent about a 3.84% return on -,investment which is rather modest. We would be pleased to meet with you at your convenience. S' cerely, E. Sketch Plan { A. Any person, Firm or corporation who desires to subdivide land contiguous with any existing or proposed county road, by a. subdfvision plat or+register>ed land survey plat is required to prepare for review with the Dakota County Plat Commission, subdivision sketch plats, which, in order to be most useful, should t contain the following information: tract boundaries, north point, streets on and adjacent to the tract, significant topographical and physical features, proposed general street layout, and proposed general lot layout. 'a B. Such proposed sketch plats will be considered a's submitted for informal and confidential discussion between the subdivider and the Plat Commission. SECTION IV. Cnforcement A. This ordinance shall be administered by the Dakota County Plat Cornission. B. In the event of a violation or a threatened violation of this ordinance, the Board of County Commissioners or any members thereof, in addition to other remedies, may institute appropriate actions or proceedings to prevent, restrain, correct, or abate such violations or threatened violations; and it shall be the duty of the County Attorneylto carry out such action. C. Any person, firm or"corporation'whd,shall•viQlate'or fail toomply with. any of"the provisions hereof or who shall make any false statements or representa- tions tions in any documnt required to be submitted under this ordinance, shall be F. guilty of a Misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars-($300.00) or by imprisonment not to exceed ininety (90) days, or both.
