Res 1981 - 25 Accepting Engineer's Report & Ordering Preparation of Plans & Specifications for Pilot Knob Road Utility RelocationCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 81-25 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PILOT KNOB ROAD UTILITY RELOCATION WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted his written r City"Council with respect to the proposed extension of sanitary sewer and water under the intersection of Nor and Pilot Knob Road in Mendota Heights, and ort to the uhicipal land Drive WHEREAS, in said report, said City Engineer reported tYat the pro- posed improvements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of, said improvements, and WHEREAS, the Engineer reported that it is likely that Drive east of Pilot Knob Road will be developed in the distant future and that accordingly, it is advisable a prior to the final street construction and paving of t of Northland Drive and Pilot Knob Road that sanitary s mains be constructed thereunder at this time, and WHEREAS, said improvements will be substantially for t of properties located easterly of Pilot Knob Road and ly, when said property is developed, the cost of the i hereinabove described should be added to the cost of p ments required for the property located easterly of Pi NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Counc of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary that the City.of Mendota Heights constr the above-described improvements, and it is hereb ordered that said improvements be made. thland t too easible ntersection and water enefit according- vements c improve - Knob Road. f the City 2) That the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements.
