Res 1981 - 30A Providing for the Settlement of Haskell Assessment Appeal�Ifl' WHEREAS, property to -wit: and City of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 81- 30A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE S OF HASKELL ASSESSMENT APPEAL Ruth Page Haskell is the owner of the following described situated in Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, The South 306.61 feet of Lot 17 and the West 142.23 feet of the South 142.29 feet of Lot 19, Auditor's Subdivision No. 3, I / WHEREAS, said property owner has appealed from the assessment in the total amount of $2,209.50 levied against said property by reason of the Ivy Falls Drainage Improvement Project (ImprovementlNo. '77, Project No. 14), and WHEREAS, said Landowner has agreed to settle her appeal+in considera- tion for the City agreeing to reduce the total assessment against the above-described property to the amount of'$1,000.00;.and WHEREAS, compromise and settlement of said assessment appeal on the basis set forth above would be in the best interests of Il the City. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: I 1) That the assessment appeal of Ruth Page Haskell with respect to the property more particularly described above be compromised and settled on the basis set forth above. ' 2) That the Mayor and Clerk and City Attorney be and they are hereby authorized and directed to take all.steps and execute any and all documents required to consummate the settlement of said appeal.
